Traffic Engineer

Responsibilities

• Traffic and Transportation Engineering that includes:
• Highway Improvement Plant Design
• Traffic Signal Plan Design
• Traffic and Parking Studies
• Attend Technical Meetings with Clients and Government Officials
• Attend Project Public Meetings
• Preferred Knowledge of:
• Site Planning
• Civil/Site Design and Preparation of Site
• Preparation of Technical Reports
• Grading and Drainage Design
• Utility Design, including public and private sewer and water systems
• Stormwater Management and SWPPP Preparation, including erosion control plans
• GIS Mapping

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• EIT or PE registration a plus
• AutoCAD experience required
• Synchro Traffic Analysis Software a plus
• Excellent writing, communication and analytical skills
