Traffic Engineer

About the role

JMC, a leading Site Planning, Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture and Land Surveying firm in Westchester County, NY, seeks motivated Traffic Engineers with 3 to 6 years of experience to join our team as an Traffic Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Traffic and Transportation Engineering that includes: Highway Improvement, Plant Design, Traffic Signal Plan Design, Traffic and Parking Studies
• Attend Technical Meetings with Clients and Government Officials
• Attend Project Public Meetings
• Preferred knowledge of: Site Planning, Civil/Site Design, Preparation of Site, Technical Reports, Grading and Drainage Design, Utility Design (including public and private sewer and water systems), Stormwater Management (including erosion control plans), GIS Mapping

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• EIT or PE registration a plus
• AutoCAD experience required
• Synchro Traffic Analysis Software a plus
• Excellent writing, communication and analytical skills
