Traffic Director

About the role

Traffic Director provides superior customer service and support to all users of the facility at the Oakland Coliseum/Arena in Oakland, CA. Duties include customer service, directing traffic, maintaining traffic flow, keeping the area clear of obstacles, and assisting management as needed.

Responsibilities

• Direct patrons where to park and assist when spaces are full.
• Flag drivers in the correct direction.
• Assist supervisor to make necessary traffic direction changes with urgency.
• Provide the company’s standards of service with each customer including maintaining required uniform appearance, stating the company greeting, answering questions, resolving issues, and thanking each customer upon exit.
• Perform other special projects as assigned by location management.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on operational needs.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• High school degree preferred.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively both verbally and through written correspondence.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when working with other employees and parking customers.
• Ability to provide customer resolution in a professional and friendly manner.

Schedule

Various shifts – on‑call opportunity
