Areas of Responsibility / Tasks

  • Maintain daily live load/delivery schedule
  • Maintain daily bulk inbound/outbound schedule
  • Maintain bulk truck to repackage schedule
  • Supply moves scheduling and paperwork
  • Perform office operations associated with checking in and the offloading of inbound movements
  • Distribute live load packets to the warehouse
  • Main point of contact for driver window
  • Prepare the prestage live load and LTL packets daily for the warehouse
  • Prepare and coordinate the Ryder loading packets daily
  • Reconcile delivery and live load schedules at the close of business daily
  • BOL distribution
  • Work with Baytown Traffic Planner and Corporate Transportation teams on carrier issues
  • Serve as a backup to the Traffic Planner

  • Internal: Transportation Teams, Warehouse Shipping, Customer Solutions Team, Blending
  • External: Carriers, Customer’s Transportation Teams

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: specifically, Outlook, Word, and Excel with the aptitude to quickly learn and understand additional applications

Minimum Qualifications/ Education / Experience / Certifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in similar title and scope of responsibility
  • Systems Experience: Microsoft suite: Outlook, Excel - Required (Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint preferred)

  • This job primarily operates in an office setting.
  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and mobile communications devices.
  • Must be comfortable working in a shared space, with constant noise, with/or without the use of a private office.
  • Schedules may vary from week to week based on business demands in excess of 40 hours with or without notice.
