Traffic Coordinator

Position Overview

OMG Inc. is a leading manufacturer of fastening products and technologies for the commercial roofing and construction industries worldwide. The Traffic Coordinator supports the Supply Chain Team by assisting with the timely and accurate processing of orders from Sales to the Customer.

Position Responsibilities

• Promote Safety as the Number One priority of all OMG employees.
• Cook with sales and customer service to determine accurate product shipping dates.
• Cook with Manufacturing to guarantee product availability.
• Effectively process back order and/or rework orders.
• Communicate ETAs (Estimated Times of Arrival), freight charges, and proofs of delivery to customers accurately and timely.
• Maintain transportation documents, and update Transportation Log daily.
• Configure and maintain tracking spreadsheets as requested.
• Process Freight Claims in a timely manner.
• Create/Process international shipping documentation as required.
• Aid with expedited or out-of-the-ordinary shipments when necessary and provide shipment quotes to customer service.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
