Key Responsibilities
- Operate and drive Truck Mounted Attenuator (TMA) vehicles to and from project sites and within work zones to protect workers and motorists.
- Set-up, install, and maintain traffic control devices such as cones, signs, arrow boards, and delineators.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure safety and proper functioning.
- Maintain compliance with all safety regulations, policies, and Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operation of traffic control activities.
- Assist with general equipment maintenance and upkeep, as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL preferred.
- Experience operating TMA vehicles or similar equipment is a plus.
- Ability to work in outdoor environments under various weather conditions.
- Physical ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, overtime, and occasional overnight travel.
