About the role

FC Traffic Control is a fast‑growing traffic control company looking for motivated, hands‑on Traffic Control Technicians who love working outdoors. You’ll spend your days setting up safe zones, directing traffic, and helping build the infrastructure that keeps communities thriving, all while working with a supportive crew.

Responsibilities

• Assist crew leads to keep projects on track.
• Set up cones, signs, and posts for safe and efficient work zones.
• Mark layouts with precision and ensure all details are correct.
• Prepare, maintain, and handle tools and equipment.
• Perform site setup and cleanup, including digging, erecting, organizing, and tidying work areas.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools to complete daily tasks.
• Safely direct traffic to protect drivers and workers.
• Travel to job sites in company vehicles and respond to field calls.

Requirements

• Enjoy working with others and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to road and work‑zone regulations.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Physical ability to squat, stoop, climb, crawl, lift up to 80 lb, and push/pull up to 50 lb while navigating uneven terrain and all weather conditions.
• Flagger Certification (preferred; company will provide certification if needed).
• Traffic Control Technician (TCT) Certification (preferred).
• Availability to work nights and weekends when duty calls.
• Pass a background check.
• At least 19 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with a minimum of three years’ driving experience.
