Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair permanent traffic signs, poles, and related support structures
- Set up traffic control devices to ensure safety during installation and maintenance
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with DOT and company safety standards
- Operate company vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently
- Conduct site inspections to assess sign condition and placement accuracy
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on time
- Adhere strictly to all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience in traffic control, sign installation, or a related field preferred
- Valid driver's license; CDL preferred
- Ability to read and interpret plans and instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Physical ability to lift and install heavy sign materials (up to 100 pounds)
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, overtime, and occasional overnight travel
