About the role

The position patrols an assigned area and directs vehicle and pedestrian foot traffic at a specific intersection or specified locations. This position also deploys traffic equipment such as signs, cones, barricades, and other equipment. Assess the need for traffic direction and control.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the deployment of equipment such as signs, cones, barricades, and other traffic control devices as needed
• Providing direction for vehicle and pedestrian traffic using verbal communication and hand signals as appropriate
• Maintaining a high level of professionalism with customers and providing customer service that exceeds their expectations

Qualifications
