• Wednesday, August 12th from 9a–3p at the same location

About the role

Assist Services has immediate openings for construction-based Traffic Controllers working within the tri-state area (PA, OH, WV). All work is performed from company vehicles; all equipment, trainings, and PPE are provided. No prior experience is required, but you must be willing and able to learn and adhere to strict customer safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Safely set up road signs, traffic cones, and/or any other equipment to direct traffic around the work area.
• Control oncoming traffic with signs to ensure road crews operate safely.
• Be knowledgeable of surrounding roads to further direct stopped motorists if needed.
• Communicate with crew members via radios, hand signals, or flags.
• Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure personal and public safety.

Requirements

• Work 12–14-hour shifts.
• Travel out of state for days at a time.
• Stand or sit for extended periods.
• Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Work outside in all weather conditions for extended periods.
• Possess a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or excessive points).
• Pass a standard criminal background check, work-verification check, 10-panel drug screen, and fit-for-duty physical.

Pay

$18.00 – $20.00 per hour

Schedule
