Traffic Control Manager

Responsibilities

• Help provide certainty to customers, field team members and U-Haul dealerships through reservation management and the distribution of U-Haul trucks, trailers, towing and U-Box portable storage.
• Cook up reservations and equipment based on customer demand and equipment productivity.
• Analyze data and craft strategies that help even out equipment within your market.
• Collaborate with rate analysts at U-Haul corporate offices and other traffic control managers on evening out inventory to help boost gross revenue, managing equipment pricing that will help serve more customers.
• Hire, mentor, and lead a team of reservation managers that support your markets' distribution strategy while providing outstanding customer service and problem-solving abilities to U-Haul dealerships and field team members.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of management and team-building experience.
• A customer service-oriented mindset with an analytical mind.
• Strong communication, listening, interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Proficiency in office etiquette that supports and maintains regional Traffic Department standards.
