Core Responsibilities
- Load and unload traffic control materials and equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and inventory records.
- Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Organize and maintain yard appearance and cleanliness.
- Track material movement and equipment usage.
- Prepare materials for field deployment.
- Inspect equipment and report damage or shortages.
- Operate forklifts and yard equipment as trained.
- Support receiving and shipping activities.
- Maintain safe work practices throughout yard operations.
Experience & Physical Requirements
- Experience with inventory, warehouse, or yard operations preferred.
- Ability to load, unload, and move materials safely.
- Strong attention to detail and recordkeeping skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more on a regular basis.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
- Ability to work in environments with noise, dust, traffic, and moving equipment.
- Ability to work near active roadways and traffic conditions.
- Flexibility to work overtime, evenings, weekends, and travel as required based on business needs.
