Traffic Control Flagger - No experience required!

Responsibilities

• Communicating with contractors on job sites
• Conducting daily traffic plans
• Setting up and tearing down appropriate work zone equipment
• Conducting flagging operations
• Maintaining personal and public safety
• Following training and upholding safety protocols
• Being aware and vigilant of surroundings for safety hazards
• Reacting to potential dangers under pressure
• Clear and professional communication with contractors, co-workers, and the general public
• Submitting paperwork to proper channels

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Valid driver's license and clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
• Reliable vehicle
• Ability to travel to meet points
• Ability to stay in overnight lodging for weeks at a time (company-provided accommodations)
• Ability to work outdoors
• Standing for a minimum of 8 hours, walking for long distances, and lifting a minimum of 25 lbs
