About the role

RoadSafe Traffic Systems is the largest national provider of traffic safety products and services in the United States. The position is based in multiple states through its network of over 60 branch locations.

Responsibilities

• Set up and take down traffic control signs, cones, and barricades to direct traffic.
• Use hand signals, signs, and other traffic control devices to communicate with motorists.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with team members using two-way radios.
• Stand and walk for up to 10 hours a day, and lift/carry/push/pull items over 50 pounds.
• Drive company vehicles to transport traffic control equipment to and from job sites.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
• Work in various weather conditions and traffic settings.
• Provide effective communication with contractors and internal teams.
• Work well in a team environment.
• Be available for a rotating on-call schedule.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Pass a background check, including motor vehicle records check.
• Pass a drug test and meet federal DOT requirements.
• Wear proper safety equipment (work boots with safety toe, hard hat, safety glasses, and safety vest).
• Operate 2-way radio.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions and traffic settings.
• Willingness to travel statewide, with occasional overnight stays, and ability to work nights and weekends as required by projects.

Schedule
