About the role
Skilled Laborer to assist in coordinating traffic control and signalization during construction activities. Position involves working with the Traffic Control Supervisor to install and repair traffic signals, erect signs and devices including traffic islands and barriers.
Responsibilities
- Assist in coordinating traffic control and signalization during construction activities
- Install and repair traffic signals
- Erect signs, traffic islands, and barriers
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- High School education/GED or equivalent
- Ability to repetitively lift up to 50 pounds, walk, stoop, squat, sit, kneel, and pass a required physical examination
- Knowledge of basic tools and their uses, basic mathematical and measurement skills (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication)
- One year of verifiable work experience in Heavy Highway Construction
- At least one year of experience with asphalt
- Maintain reliable attendance, meeting company standards, and a positive attitude
- Ability to work any shift and travel between Georgia and South Carolina as projects require
