About the role
Seeking a Traffic Safety Protector to join a team at various job sites. No prior experience or degree required; comprehensive training provided.
Responsibilities
- Setting up cones, signs, barricades, and removing traffic control equipment
- Using a stop/slow paddle to direct traffic and monitor site activity
- Adhering to all safety protocols learned during training
- Communicating effectively with crew and supervisors
- Maintaining vehicles and equipment cleanliness and safety
- Working outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
Qualifications and Skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to stand, walk, and work outside for extended periods
- Ability to lift 40–50 pounds
- Willingness to work in traffic and varying weather
- Flexible schedule and punctuality
- Pass pre-hire screening including drug tests
- Alertness around moving traffic and respectful interaction with others
Compensation and Benefits
- Hourly pay between $15–$16, with overtime and pay increases over time
