About the Role

As a Protector you work with a team at job sites. No experience or degree is needed. Safety comes first—always. We train you, support you, and help you build a career.

Responsibilities

• Set up cones, signs, and barricades and take traffic control equipment down.
• Use a stop/slow paddle to guide traffic, watching traffic and job‑site activity.
• Follow all safety rules taught in training.
• Communicate with your crew and supervisor.
• Help keep vehicles and equipment clean and safe.
• Work outside year‑round, in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to stand, walk, and work outside for long periods.
• Ability to lift 40–50 pounds.
• Willingness to work in traffic and changing weather.
• Flexible schedule; show up on time for every shift.
• Pass pre‑hire screening, including a drug test (safety‑sensitive job).
• Stay alert around moving traffic and follow all safety rules at all times.
• Treat coworkers, clients, and the public with respect.
• Provide your own steel‑toe safety boots that go above the ankle.

Schedule

• Shifts may change based on job needs; some nights, weekends, or emergency work may be required.
• Stand or walk 8 to 12 hours per shift.

Pay

• $18.50–$19.25 per hour.
• Overtime available.
• Pay increases during the first year.
• Paid training and a traffic safety certificate.
