Responsibilities
- Communicating with contractors on job site
- Conducting daily traffic plans
- Setting up and tearing down of appropriate work zone equipment
- Conducting flagging operations
- Ensuring personal and public safety
- Following training and upholding safety protocols
- Being aware and vigilant of surroundings for safety hazards
- Working under pressure and reacting to potential danger urgently
- Clear and professional communication with contractors, co-workers, and general public
- Submitting paperwork to proper channels
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Valid driver's license and clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Able to travel to meet point
- Able to stay in overnight lodging for weeks at a time (company provided accommodations)
- Able to work outdoors
- Able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours, walk for long distances, and lift a minimum of 25 lbs
