Traffic Control Flagger

Responsibilities

• Communicate with contractors on job sites
• Conduct daily traffic plans
• Setup and tear down of appropriate Workzone equipment
• Conduct flagging operations
• Ensure personal and contractor safety
• React to potential dangers under pressure
• Communicate clearly and professionally with contractors, co-workers, and the general public
• Submit paperwork to proper channels

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Valid driver's license and clean MVR
• Reliable vehicle
• Ability to travel and stay in overnight lodging for weeks at a time (company provided accommodations)
• Outdoor work capability
• Standing for at least 8 hours, walking long distances, and lifting up to 25 lbs
