Responsibilities

  • Ensure the appropriate number of cars is kept on location throughout shift.
  • Park cars in an appropriate fashion and keep the lot clean and presentable.
  • Be at work every scheduled day, on time, and in uniform.
  • Courteously assist customers by answering questions.
  • Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed.
  • Report any known accidents, policy violations, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility or Senior Manager.
  • Communicate debris, water, oil spills, and other hazards to the Facility or Senior Manager.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of major streets, landmarks, and freeways in the area of the lot.
  • Assist Facility or Senior Manager with other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Less than high school education or one month of related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid state-issued driver’s license with a current address and acceptable driving record (if required to drive a company vehicle or on company business).
  • Availability to work special shifts, including 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and/or weekends, depending on location needs.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers and other employees.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide two-digit numbers, including using units of American money.
  • Maintain a neat and clean appearance and be in complete uniform at all times.

Physical Demands

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to handle cash and equipment.
  • Occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance.
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
