Responsibilities

  • Conduct traffic analysis to support project planning and design
  • Develop and maintain traffic models using specialized software
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure traffic impacts are considered in project designs
  • Prepare reports and presentations on traffic analysis findings

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in traffic engineering or related field
  • Knowledge of traffic engineering principles and practices
  • Proficiency in traffic modeling software such as MicroSim, VISSIM, or equivalent
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
  • Experience with traffic signal design and intersection analysis
  • Understanding of traffic control devices and their impact on traffic flow

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of traffic engineering principles and practices
  • Proficiency in traffic modeling software such as MicroSim, VISSIM, or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
