Responsibilities
- Conduct traffic analysis to support project planning and design
- Develop and maintain traffic models using specialized software
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure traffic impacts are considered in project designs
- Prepare reports and presentations on traffic analysis findings
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in traffic engineering or related field
- Knowledge of traffic engineering principles and practices
- Proficiency in traffic modeling software such as MicroSim, VISSIM, or equivalent
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Experience with traffic signal design and intersection analysis
- Understanding of traffic control devices and their impact on traffic flow
Skills
- Strong knowledge of traffic engineering principles and practices
- Proficiency in traffic modeling software such as MicroSim, VISSIM, or equivalent
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
