About the role
The firm is seeking a mid-to-senior level New York based Traditional Labor Associate who is ready to step into a visible role. Responsibilities
- Represent clients through every stage of union-related matters, including organizing activity, initial union contact, collective bargaining, unfair labor practice charges, and grievance/arbitration management.
- Provide background advice to management on labor issues.
- Handle a variety of traditional labor matters, including collective bargaining, NLRB unfair labor practice cases, and labor arbitration.
Requirements
- 4-8 years of traditional labor experience.
- Experience with collective bargaining, NLRB unfair labor practice, labor arbitration, and background advising management on labor issues.
- Law firm experience strongly preferred.
- Admission to the New York State Bar.

- Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Skills
- Proven ability to handle complex labor disputes.
