About the role
We are seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial Trader / Sales Representative to manage and grow supply lines across wood and organic feed products. This role is ideal for individuals looking to accelerate their sales careers in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. The position involves full-cycle trading responsibilities, including sales, sourcing, logistics coordination, and relationship management with both internal and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage supply lines for specialty lumber and organic agricultural products
- Execute sales activities, primarily via phone (approximately 90%)
- Source products and negotiate pricing with vendors and buyers
- Coordinate logistics and ensure timely delivery of goods
- Resolve conflicts and maintain strong client relationships
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize trading outcomes
- Travel as needed
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional work experience
- Strong ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong math, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to learn proprietary systems and tools
Qualifications
- Sales or trading experience (preferred)
- Bilingual capabilities (a plus)
- Entrepreneurial mindset and strong work ethic
