Monjasa is looking for a Trader to join our New York Trading Team, one of the company's key commercial hubs in the Americas.

What you will do

• Develop and manage your own portfolio of customers and suppliers, working to meet ambitious targets
• Proactively identify new business opportunities by analysing market trends and customer demand
• Execute daily purchase and sale of bunker fuel, securing spot deals that work for everyone
• Provide specialist advice and hands-on support to keep customers coming back
• Coordinate logistical planning of fuel deliveries with customers, suppliers, and agents
• Work closely with Compliance and Credit teams to keep every deal on solid ground

What you bring

• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
• Interest in shipping, energy, trading, or international business
• A proactive, resilient attitude and the willingness to learn fast
• Fluent English, a second language is an advantage
• Experience in sales, trading, shipping, logistics, or another commercial role
• Experience in the bunker, maritime, or shipping industry is an advantage, not a requirement
• Valid authorization to work in the United States
