You will become a strategic counselor to clients seeking business-minded legal solutions to prosecution, enforcement and litigation, licensing and advertising.

Responsibilities

  • Work with nationally ranked trademark and copyright attorneys to protect brands across all industries.
  • Provide strategic counsel to clients on trademark and copyright matters, including prosecution, enforcement, litigation, licensing, and advertising.
  • Prepare and respond to cease and desist letters and handle other enforcement matters, such as domain name disputes, UDRP actions, TTAB proceedings, and matters related to the use of trademarks and social media platforms.
  • Conduct complex and detailed analysis of legal matters using analytical skills.
  • Communicate effectively with a diverse group of clients, attorneys, and staff.

Requirements

  • 2 - 4 years of U.S. and foreign trademark counseling, clearance, and prosecution experience including reviewing clearance searches and preparing substantive responses to PTO office actions.
  • Previous experience preparing and responding to cease and desist letters and handling other enforcement matters, including domain name disputes, UDRP actions, TTAB proceedings, and matters related to the use of trademarks and social media platforms.
  • Experience in copyright law.
  • Active membership in the state bar and compliance with CLE requirements.

Pay

The salary for this position is $225,000 - $260,000. The salary offered will depend upon qualifications and experience, and will be adjusted for flex-time schedules.
