Trade Support Associate

Responsibilities

• Working with sales and trading teams to process trade execution across the trade lifecycle
• Working in a team environment that closely integrates trading, technology and operational excellence
• Working with the sales and trading desk to manage risk breaks, assist with executions and middle office functions
• Automating operational workflows and partnering with developers and technology teams to architect, build, and deliver robust platforms to reduce manual overhead and risk
• Developing robust processes to aid in the deployment of new trading capabilities
• Coincating with developers to help with releases and testing for new software
• Coincating efforts with Trading, Technology, Compliance and Operations teams to ensure smooth expansion and day to day operation of the business
• Liaising with operations, accounting and business management departments to develop and answer ad hoc requests

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Rates, Bonds, and Credit
• Experienced knowledge of linear Rates
• Experience interfacing with trading and technology systems
• Process driven approach to problem solving
• Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise across multiple groups
• A highly analytic mentality and a rigorous attention to detail
• Demonstrated self-starter, with the drive and can-do attitude to learn new things and push through change to deliver results
• A completed degree from a top tier university in economics
