About the role

Join a client-focused Trade Services team that serves as a key link between clients and internal operational partners. The team supports both domestic and international trade activity, helping ensure client needs are met while coordinating closely with multiple business lines across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the operational activities for Trade Services.
  • Ensure quality service and effective securities operations activities for all supported internal and external customers.
  • Manage staff that may range from lower level non-exempt through exempt level professionals.
  • Administer corporate policies and procedures and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Participate in the preparation of the department's budget, and be accountable for managing expenses and contributing to the achievement of department net income goals.
  • Proactively manage operational risks associated with span of responsibility, including identifying control gaps and designing operational controls to mitigate risks and financial exposure to the organization.
  • Review and recommend operational systems and procedures affecting assigned units, and coordinate system conversions from an operations perspective.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience.
  • Three to five years of experience in trust and securities operational functions.
  • Three to five years of management experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Thorough knowledge of trust and securities operational functions, systems, procedures, products and services.
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of legal, regulatory and accounting principles which directly affect Wealth, Corporate, Commercial, and Institutional Banking business lines and clients.
  • Familiarity with systems and platforms such as: DTC, FED, SWP, Trust 3000, ARES.
  • Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, organizational and project management skills.
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent supervisory and management skills, including a well-developed knowledge of human resources.

Qualifications

Additional one to three years experience managing Managers preferred.

Location Expectations

This role requires working from the above U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.
