Trade Floor Support

Support a high-profile trading floor environment within a major financial services organization.

About the role

Provide real-time technical support to traders and front-office users, where minimizing downtime is critical. Work closely with Infrastructure, Network, and Application Support teams to resolve complex incidents. Create documentation, knowledge base articles, and maintain compliance with operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving:
  • Trading applications and platforms
  • Market data services (Bloomberg, Reuters/Eikon, ICE)
  • Desktop support
  • Network connectivity
  • Windows and basic Linux environments
• Monitor trading system performance and ensure maximum uptime during market hours.

Requirements

• 10+ years of trade floor/front office support experience
• Capital markets or financial services experience (strong preference)
• Scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Shell)
• Understanding of trading workflows and financial products
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Schedule

Standard 40-hour workweek, but requires responsiveness to critical issues during market hours. This is a fully onsite position in New York, NY, with a collaborative trading floor setting and direct interaction with traders and business stakeholders.

Pay

The pay range for this contract position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr. Individual compensation offered within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
