Responsibilities
- Provide primary account coverage for Liquidnet ATS Members, including institutional, hedge, quant, multi-strategy, and index funds.
- Manage senior-level relationships, primarily focused on trading desks.
- Drive the cadence and rhythm for intraday ATS coverage of each Member based on their preference and style.
- Ensure system logins and trader presence before market open.
- Respond to and proactively address match opportunities throughout the day.
- Identify and leverage intraday opportunities to sell, reinforce, and retrain on products and services.
- Suggest intraday workflows for specific indications or broken matches.
- Advise on suitable trading strategies for broken matches or residuals using market data and ARM.
- Influence and guide Member behavior to enforce system usage within Liquidnet protocols.
- Respond to and address intraday client inquiries, escalating to appropriate parties as needed.
- Collaborate with Production Support and Trade Support to manage and resolve trade situations.
- Prospect and convert new clients to the Liquidnet platform.
- Collaborate with team members to formulate wallet share maximization strategies.
- Develop and drive account plans aligned with business OKRs and KPIs, conducting periodic reviews to monitor performance.
- Partner with team members to develop and execute coverage backup plans.
- Contribute to driving, marketing, and selling the platform regionally and globally.
- Commit to ongoing continuing learning.
- Partner with FI, ETD, and IA teams to deliver the entire firm’s capabilities.
Requirements
- BS or BA degree preferred.
- Multi-task oriented with high-capacity qualitative and quantitative thinking, and exceptional knowledge of US equity market function.
- Comprehensive knowledge of buy-side and sell-side trading techniques and order flow.
- In-depth understanding of markets, venues (dark and lit), EMS/OMS, SORs, wheels, service bureaus, ATS, exchanges, and the technologies that drive and differentiate them.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the ATS block trading landscape, competitor capabilities, and Liquidnet’s competitive advantage.
- Expertise in Liquidnet ATS language and metrics that support client experience and drive block liquidity/execution to the platform.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of market microstructure and the current regulatory landscape, with the ability to anticipate changes affecting regional business.
- Demonstrated capacity for collaborating with business segment leaders, product development teams, marketing, technology, compliance, and operations across regions.
- Professional writing and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Series 7, 63, and 57 licenses required (not a necessity prior to employment).
Pay
Up to $200,000.
