Trade Compliance Attorney

Responsibilities

• Provide legal guidance and support to our clients on matters related to export controls, sanctions, customs compliance, and other trade regulations
• Conduct thorough reviews of international trade transactions, agreements, and documentation to identify potential compliance risks
• Conduct investigations and draft voluntary disclosures
• Advises on trade compliance requirements and best practices
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address compliance issues and implement effective solutions

Qualifications

• Vietnamese language proficiency
• Experience practicing law with a focus on international trade compliance, including familiarity with EAR, ITAR, FTR, and/or AFAC
• Strong knowledge of import and export controls, economic sanctions, customs regulations, and other relevant trade laws and regulations
• Ability to stay current on changes to trade laws and regulations, and advise management on potential impacts on business operations
• Juris Doctor degree or equivalent and licensed to practice law in an applicable jurisdiction

Pay

• The estimated total compensation for full-time Axiom attorney roles is $104,500-325,000 per year and for non-attorney roles is $71,250-309,750 per year.
