Position Summary
The Tractor Trailer Driver is responsible for transporting parts, components, and equipment to and from customer, vendor, and company locations and job sites. Truck Drivers must be able to perform independently under limited supervision. Examples of the types of machinery that the Driver will transport include earthmoving equipment, diesel engines, electric power generators, lift trucks, and allied products. Drivers will also transport palletized loads, hydraulic cylinders, final drives, undercarriage components and tracks, and other items associated with our business.
Essential Responsibilities & Expectations
- Adhere to basic safe machine operation and inspection
- C Conduct and document daily vehicle inspections
- Maintain truck and driving log according to DOT Regulations
- Adhere to DOT and Company safely regulations and procedures
- Insure preventive maintenance on truck is performed as required
- Load and unload truck cargo
- Properly secure truck cargo for transport
- Insure proper documentation for cargo including MSDS for hazardous materials
- Follows 5-Star Contamination Control procedures
- Maintain clean, neat, and orderly truck

Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or the equivalent
- Experience: Candidates for this position must possess strong mechanical aptitude. Individuals with prior experience hauling equipment and operating will be given stronger consideration.
- Skills and Competencies: Customer service skills, Written and verbal communication skills, Basic computing skills
