Track JH Coach

About the role

The coach will be responsible for the development of skills for students/athletes on and off the court.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement training programs for junior high track and field athletes
• Manage team logistics including scheduling practices and competitions
• Provide support and guidance to athletes both on and off the court

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in physical education or related field
• Experience coaching junior high level athletes
• Ability to work effectively with youth and families

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
• Knowledge of track and field techniques and rules

Skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes
• Proficiency in using technology for coaching purposes

Pay

Union contract salary range based on education, experience, and qualifications: $2,531- $2,823

Schedule

Hours are flexible but typically involve evenings and weekends during the season.
