About the role

Manufacture Thermal Protection System (TPS) components and subassemblies for the Terran R vehicle while meeting quality, safety, and production requirements.

Perform adhesive bonding operations including surface preparation, adhesive mixing, application, vacuum bagging, and other TPS manufacturing processes.

Follow engineering drawings, work instructions, specifications, and manufacturing procedures while completing assigned work with minimal supervision.

Safely operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, calibrated equipment, and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software to document production activities.

Collaborate with engineers, quality inspectors, and fellow technicians to troubleshoot routine production issues and continuously improve manufacturing processes.

Support downstream operations as needed while maintaining Relativity Space's high standards for safety, quality, and shop organization.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of aerospace manufacturing experience or a related field
  • Experience performing adhesive bonding operations, including surface preparation, adhesive mixing, application, and vacuum bagging
  • Experience manufacturing or assembling flight hardware in a production environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality flight hardware
  • Nice to have but not required: Experience using Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate, Experience supporting manufacturing operations at remote or downstream production sites

1st shift, Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM PT
