Tower Technician

Description

One Way Wireless Construction is seeking Tower Technicians to join their team. With paid training provided to all new hires before field assignments, this could be a great career opportunity for those comfortable working at heights and traveling.

What you’ll be doing

• Climb towers ranging from 50 to 700 feet to install, repair, or upgrade wireless equipment.
• Rig ropes, mount antennas, radios, and run fiber and RF jumpers.
• Follow site-specific build plans and carrier standards.
• Document work with photos and maintain a clean, safe job site.
• Communicate effectively with your team and assist newer members as needed.
• Work Monday through Friday, with frequent travel throughout the Midwest.

Who you are

• Reliable, respectful, and safety-conscious.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Physically capable of heights and willing to travel.
• Experienced with basic hand tools and have a valid driver’s license.
• Able to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and background check.

Requirements

• Valid drivers license.

Compensation details

• Hourly wage range: $22–$35/hr, based on experience and qualifications.
• Overtime pay (1.5x) for hours over 40/week — typical workweeks average 50–60+ hours.
• $175 per diem/night (for overnight travel).
