Tow Motor Operator - Night shift

Position Summary

This entry‑level role will be responsible for operating production equipment safely in a manufacturing environment to meet quality and production targets. Training will be provided.

Essential Duties

  • Follows all safety procedures.
  • Conducts pre‑shift inspection of the assigned forklift to identify safety and maintenance concerns; reports concerns to Maintenance personnel.
  • Operates the forklift, delivering materials to all functional areas by responding to radio calls and prepping work stations.
  • Utilizes a scanner to scan inbound and outbound product for location tracking in Oracle ERP/WIP Management.
  • Loads and unloads product from incoming and outgoing trailers.

Additional Duties

  • Completes shipping paperwork and inspections.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution.
  • Previous tow‑motor experience required.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and operate the vehicle safely.
  • Ability to follow all instructions, rules, and regulations regarding safety.

Physical Demands

  • Lifting: Some lifting (less than 20 % of the workday).
  • Standing: Infrequently (less than 20 % of the workday).
  • Walking: Infrequently (less than 20 % of the workday).
  • Bending and Twisting: Minimal or none.
  • Noise: 100 % of the time in a noisy production environment (PPE required).

Pay

$20.61 per hour with an additional $1.00 per hour shift differential for 2nd/3rd shift.

Schedule

Night shift: 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM.
