Position Overview We are seeking a highly experienced and dependable Tow Motor Operator to join our team. This position will primarily be responsible for safe and efficient material movement throughout our operations, while also serving as a trained backup to the Shipping Coordinator. Key Responsibilities (including But Not Limited To) Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and products.Prepare shipments by assembling, packing, and labeling items appropriately.Coordinate with carriers and freight companies to schedule pickups and deliveries.Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile discrepancies as needed.Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.Keep work area clean and organized to facilitate efficient workflow.Assist in other warehouse tasks as assigned by the supervisorNotify appropriate departments of outgoing shipmentsMaintain inventory of shipping materialsOperate forklift and pallet jack Qualifications What we need you to have: Extensive prior tow motor/forklift operating experience requiredDemonstrated ability to safely handle materials in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environmentStrong understanding of safe loading, unloading, staging, and material-handling practicesAbility to obtain and maintain company-required forklift/tow motor certificationAbility and willingness to learn shipping and logistics responsibilitiesAbility to operate a company box truck, or willingness to become qualified to do soStrong attention to detail and accuracyDependable attendance and a strong work ethicAbility to work independently while also supporting production and shipping teamsAbility to prioritize and adjust responsibilities based on changing operational needsGood communication and organizational skillsAbility to work effectively across both Beachwood facilitiesAbility to safely operate a tow motor for extended periodsAbility to routinely sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, and maneuver throughout a manufacturing/warehouse environmentAbility to lift and move materials as required within the limitations of the position and applicable safety proceduresAbility to work in an industrial environment and wear required personal protective equipment What We’d Love You To Have Flexibility, reliability, safety, and experience are critical to success in this positionExperience operating 20,000lb+ PITs Additional Information Travel Requirements – 5 - 10% travelApplicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa currently
