About the role

This role reports to the Senior Putter Representative managing putter operations in the field across all global tours players. The Putter Specialist is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships across all TaylorMade Tour platforms, with a primary focus on elite players (both men and women).

Responsibilities

  • Maximize the amount of TaylorMade equipment and specifically putters in play on Tour and other influential tours/ambassadors via executing strategies determined by leadership.
  • Develop productive relationships with top Team TaylorMade players on the PGA Tour and other influential tours through building trust and establish self as a product and fitting expert.
  • Seek out players that have potential to play TaylorMade putters/equipment, then work with them and prescribe putters to put into play.
  • Work closely with superior to assure the satisfaction of goals and objectives within the putter category.
  • Grow exposure for our putter brand and grow the putter business.
  • Effectively communicate to superior and team members important information relating to but not limited to a specific player, TM equipment, competitors’ equipment or programs etc.
  • Represent the company at the highest levels at all times to the player, their family, agent or teacher.

Requirements

  • Strong technical knowledge of TaylorMade products.
  • High-level golf skills at a competitive amateur and professional level.
  • Knowledge of swing mechanics and player development.
  • Knowledge of competitor products and analysis of performance of these products.
  • Understanding of player population and product needs.
  • Strong knowledge of amateur golf landscape.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability manage current TM relationships and to possess amicable, outgoing and strong listening, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Neat and professional appearance and customer service mindset.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Marketing preferred.
  • 5+ years’ general golf industry experience with at least 4 years of direct interaction with golf professionals and top amateurs.
  • 5+ years’ experience of equipment building and fitting skills required.

Pay

The expected annual base pay range for this position is $80,000 - $95,000. Additional benefits, such as health & wellness, performance bonuses, product discounts, holidays, paid time off, etc. may also be offered in accordance with our plans.

Schedule

70–80% travel, over 220 days per year.
