About the role
MetalMark is seeking an Assistant Comp Team Coach to join our community-focused climbing gym.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Experienced in bouldering, top rope, and lead climbing
- Sound understanding of climbing techniques such as footwork, body positioning, movement efficiency, and route reading
- Patience and passion for working with kids at a variety of ability levels and learning styles
- Creative, fun approach to climbing instruction and curriculum to make learning enjoyable and engaging
- Interest in creating high-quality training curriculum and programming for Team Touchstone
- Excited to collaborate with other coaches to facilitate an exceptional team experience for climbers
Pay
Starting pay is $19 per hour. Compensation decisions are based on factors including facility location and type, membership volume, experience, and job tenure.
