About the role
As a Total Rewards Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of employee benefits and compensation programs. This includes managing benefit plan design, negotiating vendor contracts, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.Responsibilities
- Oversee the design and implementation of comprehensive employee benefit plans.
- Negotiate and manage vendor contracts to ensure competitive rates and service levels.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations related to employee benefits.
- Conduct regular reviews and updates to benefit plans based on market trends and company needs.
- Collaborate with HR teams to align benefits offerings with organizational goals and culture.
- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding their benefits options.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in total rewards management or a related field.
- Proven ability to analyze data and make informed decisions about benefit plan design and administration.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships with vendors and other stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with employees, managers, and executives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of current best practices in total rewards management.
- Experience with benefit plan administration software and systems.
- Understanding of ERISA and other relevant employment laws.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
