About the role

Join our Fiesta Mart Store Operations Team as a Tortilleria Clerk at the 213 Lancaster store. Located at 1450 W. Pleasant Run Rd., Lancaster, California, 75146.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service
• Interact with the general public and co-workers
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos
• Write simple correspondence
• Present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
• Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds
• Assist customers, clean, fill and rotate tortilla displays, and assist in making a variety of tortillas and masa for the department
• Work in a fast-paced grocery store environment

Requirements

• Ability to read and write Spanish/English
• Basic PC/Outlook skills
• Retail Management Certificate (preferred)

Qualifications

• Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required

Skills

• Customer service skills
• Reading and writing abilities in Spanish and English
• Basic computer skills
