About the role

The Tortilla Molinero is responsible for providing a well-stocked and well-maintained department while delivering superior customer service. The individual will prepare, package, and merchandise fresh product on a daily basis while maintaining company core values.

Responsibilities

• Proven track record of providing excellent results, showing persistence and perseverance.
• Dedicated to meeting expectations of internal and external customers.
• Demonstrates care and compassion for people; shows empathy and concern.
• Able to build and maintain positive team relationships, relates well to diverse people; is approachable.
• Maintains standards for quality, cleanliness, organization, customer service, safety, loss prevention, sanitation, store conditions, and food safety.
• Operates Tortilla processor/machinery.
• Counts, bags, and labels tortilla batches.
• Maintains a fully-stocked shelf/display table of items.
• All other duties as assigned.

Customer Service

• Demonstrates personal Customer Service excellence.
• Engages with customers at all times.
• Improves speed and efficiency of service provided.

Requirements

• Valid Food Handlers Card.
• Customer Service and retail experience desirable.

Physical Demands and Work Conditions

• Walking: Continuously, throughout shift, while moving about the store and handling merchandise.
• Standing: Continuously, throughout shift.
• Lifting: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
