Cardenas Markets is looking for a Tortilla Clerk to deliver quality customer service in a retail store environment. Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers in a friendly, service-oriented manner to address questions or concerns.
• Organize products in display cases and on tables, ensuring cases are fully stocked.
• Use scales and weight measures accurately to weigh and label products.
• Maintain high standards for quality, cleanliness, organization, customer service, safety, loss prevention, sanitation, department conditions, and food safety.
• Operate various professional tortilla department equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Customer Service

• Demonstrate personal excellence in customer service.
• Engage with customers consistently.
• Improve the speed and efficiency of service provided.

Skills and Qualifications

• Valid Food Handlers Card.
• Customer service and retail experience are desirable.

Physical Demands and Work Conditions

• Walking: Continuously throughout the shift while moving about the store and handling merchandise.
• Standing: Continuously throughout the shift.
• Lifting: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
