What You'll Do
- Aid in the commissioning of new high-volume production lines by supporting engineers in configuring torque tool equipment
- Diagnose and resolve complex tightening systems, including torque controllers, Ethernet connections, tool cables, tool positioning systems, tightening programs, and PLC communication interfaces
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, production, and maintenance, to address compliance with government-regulated quality audits
- Support the troubleshooting of high-level and critical issues related to tightening systems from manufacturers such as Atlas Copco, Desoutter, Estic, Bosch, and Bollhoff
- Assist in the setup and operation of TTF (Torque to Failure) testing for New Product Introduction (NPI) and quality assurance purposes
- Manage critical servers and databases that store important information, applications, and software
- Work with tool vendors to resolve escalated issues and evaluate the most suitable technology solutions for specific manufacturing applications
- Train new technicians on how to troubleshoot and support tightening systems, especially after major upgrades and expansions involving new technologies
- Operate and manage the Atlas Copco ToolsTalk2 server, including user access and rights, Atlas Copco Virtual Stations, and TT2 licenses on the server and Factory Manufacturing System (FMS)
What You'll Bring
- At least 2 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Proven proficiency in calibration and quality audit requirements
- Strong experience working in a high-impact, responsive, and collaborative team setting
- 2+ years of experience configuring and building tightening systems from companies such as Atlas Copco, Desoutter, Stanley, Bosch, Estic, etc.
- Advanced technical skills in Windows-based computer systems and general computer literacy (including software installations, network configurations, and file transfers)
- Extensive experience with Atlas Copco systems, including electrical and mechanical repairs
- A solid understanding of engineering principles, tightening strategies, and fieldbus, PLC, and ToolsNet intercommunications
- Experience with developing and debugging scripts in Python, PowerShell, and JavaScript
