Topical Foam Operator

About the role

Responsible for observing and reacting to all issues at the Topical work area.

Responsibilities

• Complete knowledge of the Topical machine. Know the principles of the operation, what each instrument records, its performance, etc.
• Be familiar with the mechanical performance of the froth machine. Load and Unload material when needed.
• Make necessary adjustments for proper topical application.
• Observe carpet pinning at the tenter and correct issues as needed for a quality product.
• Flush foam machine after process is complete.
• Absorb on weekend cleaning and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Keep work area clean.

Requirements

• Lifting is sometimes required use caution and get help as needed,
• Standing is required 90% of shift.
• Reaching is required for tools, and buckets 20 to 40 times per shift.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and do basic math; addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.
• Computer knowledge or data entry skills are a necessary part of the job.
• Overtime is required on occasion.
• All accidents must be reported immediately.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
• Safety equipment must be worn as required and requirements must be followed for all areas.
• Report to management any quality, safety, or potential problems encountered while performing the job.
• Responsible for quality and safety of his/her own output.
