Top Secret Cleared Network Engineer

About the role

The Network Systems Engineer will provide network operations and engineering sustainment support to a mission critical IP messaging and communications transport network.

Responsibilities

• Network integration, testing, security and implementation configuration support
• Collaborate with Architecture teams to define / continuously improve STIG compliant configuration baselines

Requirements

• Active Top Secret Clearance
• At least 7 years of overall experience
• One of the following certifications: CCNP, CCDP, CCSP, Security +
• Experience deploying, configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routing, switching and firewall devices
• Strong understanding of IP network / subnet addressing
• Troubleshooting experience with MLPS, VPNs, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, etc.

Desired Skills

• Ability to travel up to 10% OCONUS travel
• Experience with change, configuration and performance management NetOps concepts

Pay

The expected hourly rate range for this role is $43 – 64/hr. The posted range is an estimate. The actual compensation offer will be based on the candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications and will be in line with internal equity.
