Tooling Technician

About the role

Join our Green Bay facility, a 75‑year‑old metal finishing company serving aerospace, automotive, military, and medical device industries. As a Tooling Tech you will build and adjust racking for specific customer products, develop tools to improve quality and efficiency, and collaborate with multiple teams to keep production on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Build and adjust racking for specific customer products to maximize load density and efficiency.
• Work with various teams to develop tools that improve quality and efficiency.
• Communicate delays in tooling development to impacted teams.
• Identify irregularities and malfunctions in tooling and processes.
• Perform operations such as drilling, milling, tapping, grinding, and related tasks.
• Handle repetitive lifting up to 50 lb and work in environments with heat, noise, sharp parts, heavy carts, and process lines while using required safety equipment.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
• Fabrication and welding experience.
• Highly motivated and creative mindset.
• Accurate oral and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere.
