Tooling Project Engineer

About the role

Responsible for designing, developing, and testing tooling solutions for manufacturing processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new tooling solutions based on engineering specifications.
• Conduct tests and evaluations to ensure tooling meets quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, production staff, and suppliers to optimize tooling processes.
• Document design and testing procedures for future reference and training purposes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in tooling design and development.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience with injection molding and die casting processes.
• Familiarity with material selection and process optimization.
• Knowledge of quality assurance and control methodologies.

Skills

• Advanced proficiency in CAD/CAM software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay

• $80,000 - $100,000 annually.

Schedule

• Full-time position.
