About the role

Support the design, validation, and commissioning of welding jigs, fixtures, and assembly tooling for manufacturing projects.
Perform dimensional inspections using advanced metrology equipment to ensure tooling and assemblies meet strict requirements.
Collaborate with production, quality, and industrial teams to resolve tooling-related issues impacting safety, quality, or delivery.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in tooling design, dimensional management, and process stability.
Contribute to the digitalization and standardization of dimensional control activities across automated welding lines.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve dimensional and functional requirements for tooling and assemblies.
  • Timely resolve tooling-related issues impacting production safety, quality, or delivery.
  • Implement continuous improvement actions that enhance process stability and product quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, tooling engineering, dimensional control, or industrialization.
  • Hands-on experience with welding fixtures, GD&T, tolerance analysis, and metrology equipment such as Laser Trackers and CMMs.
  • Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a customer-focused and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Proficiency in CAD and metrology software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, PolyWorks) and a willingness to work on the shop floor.
