Key Responsibilities
- Set up CNC machines, including tooling and work offsets, to support production and engineering needs
- Create and revise 2D and 3D drawings and models using AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
- Design, modify, and improve tools, fixtures, and gauges to meet manufacturing and quality requirements
- Troubleshoot tooling, fixturing, and setup-related issues on the shop floor
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to support new product introductions and process improvements
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost, efficiency, and quality
- Maintain accurate documentation, drawings, and setup procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
Qualifications
- CNC machining experience, including machine setup and offset setup
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
- Solid understanding of basic tool and fixture design principles
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
- Hands-on, practical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and develop technical skills in tooling and manufacturing
- Experience with fixturing for CNC milling and/or turning (preferred)
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, cutting tools, and materials (preferred)
- Experience supporting production environments (high-mix, low-volume or high-volume preferred)
