Tooling & Die Design Engineer

Role Overview

The role is responsible for leading die/mold design for North American mass production, creating 3D models and detailed drawings, and collaborating with customers and internal teams to ensure high‑quality parts and production stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design die & mold tooling using CAD software.
• Incorporate customer specifications into new and existing dies/molds.
• Investigate and implement improvements or countermeasures for tooling issues during production.
• Oversee design and manufacturing processes with suppliers.
• Support installation of dies/molds and equipment at production sites.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field; or an Associate’s degree with relevant experience; or 6+ years relevant experience.
• 0‑2 years relevant experience; co‑op experience preferred.
• Familiarity with CAD software and solid mechanical/manufacturing knowledge.

Work Conditions

Primarily office‑based with some exposure to a manufacturing environment, including standing, lifting, and potential travel—including international trips.
